WOW - Congrats again on an amazing day at competition on Saturday. I'm so proud! Several of you and your parents asked for me to post the awards we received... here they are!!

This Week!

Competition is almost here! Here a few reminders about this week...

• If you still have Applebee's ticket money to turn in, I need it ASAP!
• I will have Saturday's final performance schedule to hand out by Wednesday
• Make sure you have everything that is on the PINK checklist

Practice schedule:

TUESDAY

• 7:30 am - Everyone
• 4:15 - 5:15 pm - Aussies

WEDNESDAY

• 7:30 am - Everyone
• 4:15 - 5:30 pm - Officers

THURSDAY

• 7:30 am - Everyone
• 4:15 - 5:45 pm - Everyone

FRIDAY

• 8:00 am - Everyone
• Make sure ALL your stuff for Saturday is at school, we are going to "pack" for Saturday
  
• Wear practice clothes - we will run through dances after we pack!

SATURDAY = COMPETITION :)

Wednesday UPDATE

Wednesday -- meet in the Kangarette room at the start of 4th period. You will have time to put things in your locker, and that's about it...

Remember to wear your windsuit, maroon shirt, and team tennis shoes.

We will meet the cheerleaders outside the gym and load the buses. We will only be going to Rancier MS! After we go to Rancier, we will go eat lunch.

Please bring money for lunch!!

We will be back on campus by 3:00 pm. You will go to 7th period!

Wednesday - Recruiting

Wednesday, February 17 we will be going with the cheerleaders to recruit for next year at Rancier MS and Nolan MS. You will need to meet outside the gym at the start of 4th period to load the bus. We will be gone for the rest of the school day (your absences will be excused). We will arrive back at KHS between 4:30 and 5:00 pm.

Please wear the following TO SCHOOL on Wednesday - there will not be time to change before we load the buses:

• Kangarette windsuit
  
• Maroon K-rette shirt
• Team tennis shoes

We will be performing the Hip Hop routine! Let me know if you have questions about this... Sorry for the late notice.

Important Info!! Practice updates...

Tomorrow morning (Thursday 2-11-10) we will only practice during 1st period!

I need your fundraiser money (Applebee's tickets) on FRIDAY morning. We will sell tickets at the door also...

Saturday morning - Applebee's Pancake Breakfast (8-10 am)

• Be at Applebee's @ 7:30 am
  
• Wear K-rettes t-shirt, jeans, and tennis shoes
• Your hair needs to be pulled back
  
• Be ready to work... we will be serving the pancakes!

Next Thursday afternoon (2-18-10) we will practice!!!! It's an early out... Everyone plan to practice from 2:15 to 5:00 pm.

If you miss a practice the 2 weeks prior to competition - you will be CUT from the routine we are polishing that day. This is crunch time ladies... you need to be here and be focused!!

Reminders/contest info

Applebee's fundraiser is on SATURDAY... Please be selling your tickets! You can turn in your money to me for the tickets you sell any day this week!

You need to make sure that you have the following items for competition - we are only 3 weeks away! Get excited... I know I am :)

• Capezio footundeez (you should already have these... if you don't PLEASE take care of this ASAP)
• Tights - you need to have 2 pair with you at the competition. Make sure you double check your tights for damages NOW so you can buy a replacement pair if necessary!
• Flesh-colored bra with clear straps - you will be able to wear this with all your costumes as long as the clear straps are the only thing that I see!
• Double check your make-up... make sure you have red lipstick, etc... I will let you know if you need to purchase false eyelashes or new eye shadow by the end of the week!

Also - don't forget what we discussed last week... you need to be at practice ON TIME and ready to work. We have lots to do in the next 3 weeks, but I think it will all pay off!
