Panoramic Picture - CHANGE

I just heard from Ms. Hall, and the band picture is being rescheduled again:

The Senior Class and the Band Big Pictures have been rescheduled for Tuesday, December 7.

Senior Class at 8:15 a.m. and the Band will be at 9 a.m. in front of the school by the Flag Pole.

Sorry for the changes again. This Thursday, we will practice at 7:45 am!

Major Update - Band Picture Tomorrow!!

The panoramic picture for the band has been rescheduled for tomorrow! I just found out about this, and I sincerely apologize for the late notice. Since I told you to get your uniforms cleaned, we are going to have to go to "Plan B" for what to wear....

Report time: 8:00 am

What to wear: Black v-fronts, KHS top (the one we wear at pep rallies), converse, bring Kangarette rhinestone jacket

Wear your hair down - it can be straight or curly

Wear performance make-up and red lips for the picture

Again, I am very sorry for the late notice. Please be on time in the morning, ready to take the picture!!

Schedule Update

Great job with football season ladies... Our last performance was very successful!!

With football season over, we will now shift our focus to contest season, technique, and basketball games. Until Thanksgiving our goal will be for everyone to know the contest material, and then we will start cleaning and polishing those dances in the time between Thanksgiving and Winter break.

This week:

• Monday - NO practice, 1st period only
• Tuesday - Thursday - Practice @ 8:00 am
• Wednesday afternoon - Officers 4:15-5:15
  
• Friday - NO practice, 1st period only

Next week:

• Monday & Tuesday - Practice @ 8:00 am

Don't forget about the following dates in December...

• Saturday 12/4 - Learn contest hip hop (9:00 - 12:30)

Friday's Game

Hello everyone! Here is the information about Friday's play-off game. We play Mansfield Summit at Glen Rose ISD Stadium. Kick-off is at 7:30. Here is the address to the stadium:

Friday morning - Practice @ 8 am with the band

Wear your pink K-rette shirt and converse to school. You may wear jeans or your windsuit pants, its up to you.

5th period - Report to Kangarette room

• Wear tights, bloomers, black windsuit, pink k-rette shirt, and converse on the bus
• Curl your hair and put make-up on (no lipstick until we arrive @ stadium)
• Triple check that you have everything you need
• We will take boxes with us on the bus - all leather, hat, boots, wool coat, sleeves, skirt, uniform top, vest need to be in your box
• Make sure you have blanket, poncho, and hat cover in your maroon bag

We will be leaving between 2:00 and 2:30 pm

Bring money for food - we will stop on the way to the game and on the way home from the game... so bring money for 2 meals

We will be getting back late... probably around 2:00 am.

Next Week

Great job yesterday at the pep rally and game - I know it was cold but we all made it :)

The Roos will play Friday, November 12th @ 7:30 in Glen Rose. I'm not sure of any details about when we will leave, etc... but I will let you know as soon as I find out.

Here is an update for this week:

Tuesday - Practice @ 8 am; Work on Kick and Pep Rally

Wednesday - BAND picture... be here @ 8 am, be ready in full uniform (hair, make-up, etc...) at 8:35; Seniors... I will be here at 7:30 for you to get ready.

Thursday

• Practice @ 7:30 am
• Wear k-rette shirt, jeans, and converse to school
• I will get you out of 6th period for the pep rally - talk to your teacher early to get what you will be missing
• For pep rally - wear black pants and KHS top; Be ready to walk to stadium at 2:40
  
• Report time for the game is 5:00
• You need to be ready at 5:25, we will walk out the door at 5:30
  
• We are going to the stadium early to help with parent night for the football team

Friday

• Study hall during 1st period; No practice

*** The Kangaroos are going to the play-offs! There will be a play-off game Friday, November 12th or Saturday, November 13th. As soon as I have details, I will let you know.
