Saturday is our first marching band contest! KHS is hosting the contest, so we will be the exhibition performance at the end of the evening (
approx. 8:00 pm). Since our band is hosting the contest, we will need to be here before the first band starts so that we can help out in any way that Mr. Gregg needs us to.
Please EAT before you come to the school.
Report time:
3:30 pm to Kangarette room... COME READY (see below)
What to wear:
- Black v-fronts, tights, converse, and Kangarette shirt
- Hair needs to be done already (hump and ponytail, straight or curly)
- Wear make-up, but you don't need to have lipstick on yet
- Bring windsuit jacket w/ rhinestones just in case
We will come to the Kangarette room to change into performance top/jazz shoes, touch up make-up, and get our poms. There might not be a lot of time, so make sure you are mostly ready when you arrive at 3:30.
Awards are scheduled for 8:45. You will (hopefully) be able to leave between 9:15 and 9:30. Please let me know if you have any questions about Saturday!
